D.C.’s Different Drummers is an LGBTQI+ music organization welcoming ALL musicians as it fosters pride, inclusivity, and engagement with the greater Washington, D.C. region through music. With a membership of over 150 people, DCDD has multiple ensembles – including a symphonic band, marching band, jazz band, winter guard, and multiple small ensembles — that perform year-round across the DC metro region. A founding member of the Pride Bands Alliance, a member of TeamDC, and Pride Partners of the Capital Pride Alliance, DCDD aims to foster pride, community, and inclusivity through music.
